9" x 12" oil on board. Prior to the 1800s, the first people to live in the Steelville area were groups likely tied to the Osage. These peoples were driven west into modern-day Oklahoma. In the 1830s, the Trail of Tears, a government-sponsored forced march, passed through Steelville, with people primarily from the Choctaw and Cherokee tribes.

My Commitment as an Artist
Price includes shipping and insurance to the lower 48 states. Contact the artist for additional shipping options.
All mounted canvas paintings and framed paintings come pre-wired for immediate hanging.
Paintings will be varnished (oil, acrylic) to minimize damage from dust and sunlight.
Photos with matte (non-glossy) finish are most likely drying and awaiting varnish.
Framed paintings tagged with the below graphic indicate an upcycled wood frame. I am always searching for old frames to keep out of the landfill and resurrect. Such frames may be re-stained or re-painted but dings and dent are left as-is. Leaves a little character.
